Mud Bugs, despite their smallness, are one of the deadliest weapons in Maelstrom’s despicable arsenal.
Pictured below is a rarely seen example, recently caught in India. The thing about Mud Bugs is that, once exposed to water, they dissolve completely, and so are difficult to capture.

Horrible, isn't it?
Also, since they are made of mud, and therefore not alive, they are, by definition, impossible to kill.
Is their no end to Maelstrom's fiendishness!? No, actually, there isn't.
Maelstrom designed Mud Bugs specifically for use in Asian countries, during the monsoon season. The Bugs, planted earlier in the year, lay dormant, until activated by the mighty rains.
They then become as deadly as a Cobra or a wild dog. All someone has to do is walk across a muddy patch of ground – and the Mud Bug will leap out, entering the nose of the unsuspecting victim.
A slow, painful death by suffocation ensues.
